Born in Seoul, Yubi has lived across Japan, New Zealand, England, and the United States, shaping a multicultural artistic language rooted in personal and emotional narratives. She earned a BFA in Fine Arts in Tulsa, studied Fashion Photography in London, and completed an MFA in Painting at SCAD in Atlanta.
Working across painting, photography, and mixed media, Yubi explores identity, the inner child, and the unconscious. Grounded in Korean heritage and cross-cultural experience, her work creates visual dialogues between inner and outer worlds, emphasizing self-acceptance and interconnectedness.
